With a wide array of boat storage options available, it's understandable that the decision-making process may seem complex. To support you in making an informed choice, we have compiled answers to some of the most commonly asked questions below.

Which Package is right for me?

We offer both indoor and outdoor storage packages to suit all needs and budgets.

How much does it cost?

Unlike many providers, we publish all our prices online, with no hidden fees, surprise charges, or penalties. We've eliminated the need for time-consuming phone calls just to receive a quote, making the process clear, straightforward, and hassle-free.

What security measures do you have?

Our facility is equipped with 24/7 active CCTV surveillance, including a primary camera monitoring the main entrance and multiple additional cameras covering the access routes.

When staff are not on-site, the main gate remains securely locked. Boats stored indoors are housed within a locked storage barn with controlled, monitored entry. For outdoor storage, the compound is enclosed by 2-metre-high earth banks and has a single, secure access point to enhance protection.

Where is your Storage Facility?

For security reasons, we do not publicly disclose the address of our storage facility. We understand that this information may be required for insurance purposes; therefore, the address will be provided following a consultation and confirmation of your booking.

Can I collect my own boat and self-launch?

Only approved subcontractors are permitted on-site. Unfortunately, this means customers are not allowed to drop off or collect their own boats or trailers, nor carry out any work on them while they are in storage.

How much notice do you need to get my boat ready?

Due to the high demand and our existing commitments, we kindly request a minimum of two weeks’ notice for the first launch of the season.

During the main boating season (June to September), we offer an online launch and recovery booking platform that displays real-time availability. Subsequent bookings during this period must be made at least four days in advance.

What are your launch/ recovery locations?

We are able to launch from a range of locations, including Hope Cove (Inner Hope Slipway), Hope Cove (Harbour Beach)*, Salcombe (Batson Slipway), and Kingsbridge. Launches at other locations can also be arranged upon request.

My boat doesn't have a trailer, can we hire yours?

Absolutely. We have a wide range of trailers available, suitable for everything from small inflatables to large boats requiring triple-axle roller trailers.

For vessels exceeding the legal towing weight for a standard 4x4 vehicle (3,500 kg), we can arrange for safe and compliant transportation to and from our storage facility. Please note that this service requires additional notice and will incur a supplementary charge.
